Bathroom/Laundry Room Remodel
The finish work involved a series of intricate tasks. They installed new shut-offs as required, as well as a dedicated electrical supply for the new tub to run on a GFI outlet, per code. The team framed a new lower shelf and filled in the void between the tub back and right-side walls with composite material. This allowed them to install the tub at the window and wall shelving. To ensure proper tub support, the team install the floor underlayment in the alcove. They finished the are by installing drywall to the tub alcove walls affected by the remodel, taped, and finished smooth, ready for primer and paint.
The new bathroom was equipped with a 60×36 Cast Iron Tub with Drain & Overflow, a 60″ x 30′ x 80″ Alcove Tub/Shower System, a Shower Curtain Rod, a 48″x21″ Vanity, a 49×22 Quartz Vanity Top with UnderMount Sink, a Vanity Faucet, a Shower Valve, Showerhead, and Trim, a Vanity Light(s) and Vanity Mirror, a Toilet & Wood Seat, and a Panasonic Bathroom Exhaust Fan with Light. The team also installed a Paper Holder.
They relocated the laundry room to the new bath/bedroom and relocated the existing washer and dryer to the new space. The team provided and installed wall cabinets, hardware, a shelf, and a clothes rod for both closets.
For a clean look and additional storage space, the team updated the kitchen walk-in pantry new white 3/4″ melamine shelving on cleats.
